How the firm handles what you send through this site.

What we collect

When you send the contact form we receive your name, email, phone number if you give one, ZIP code, the language you prefer and the message you write. Our web host also logs basic visit data, such as the pages viewed and the type of device.

How we use it

We use it to reply to you, to read your paperwork, to give you a quote and to run the practice. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who sees it

The lawyers and staff of Groundtruth Law see it. We also use service providers for email, video calls and electronic signatures, and they handle it only to provide those services. We share it beyond that only if you ask us to or the law requires it.

Please don’t send confidential details

Before you are a client, please leave Social Security numbers, account numbers and medical details out of the form and out of email. Once you are a client, we’ll tell you how to send documents safely.

How long we keep it

If you don’t become a client, we keep your message only as long as we need it to answer you and for our own records. If you do, your file is kept as long as the rules for lawyers require.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what you sent, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@groundtruthlaw.com or calling (805) 555-0143. This site isn’t meant for children.

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version goes on this page.
